Fabricators all around the world use many different appliances to cut or weld metal sheets. Welding is an art of joining one metal sheet with another metal sheet using a high temperature torch or beam. These welding torches emit a torch of flame which is very hot and is capable of melting the metal sheet. Those melted sheets are joined together to fuse with each other and form a single sheet. In this whole welding process, the nozzle of the torch also gets pretty much heated up and requires instant cooling from getting damaged by the heat of the flame. So, for the cooling of the torch a TIG water cooler is made available. This water cooling unit reduces the heat of the torch and also reduces the chances of torch being getting damaged by the heat. A water cooled torch has a small tube or pipe in which water constantly flows and keeps it cool. As long as the water keeps running in those pipes, the torch will remain cool and will offer high amperage. As the water flow stops in those tubes, the torch will heat up and gets damaged or completely burned.
Features
TIG water coolers come with many impressive features. Some of them are mentioned below:
Compact design: All the welding water coolers are available in compact design and size. They are designed in such a way that they can be taken from one place to another with ease and simplicity. These are like a suit case with a handle on the top of it. The compact design also allows the fabricators to do welding in a compact or small place with ease.
Pump: The pump is also an important component of a water cooler as it is responsible for pumping the cooled water to the torch and pumping back the hot water to the reservoir so that it may get cooled.
