You started a business and now you want to make people know about it. Of course, you don’t want to spend a lot of money on it since you are just starting out and you have spent so much on your business. So, let me provide you with quick and cheap ways to advertise your business.

Social Media

Who doesn’t use social media, right? I know, everyone does. So why not start building your business using different social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You can either opt to pay for advertising or you can just create a page for free. But if you really want your business to reach a lot of people, then you had better spend some cash on it. You set your target market and the amount you are willing to spend on the ads. Wait for about 24 hours and once your ad is approved, then it can be seen by thousands of people while scrolling their newsfeeds.

Flyers

Distributing flyers is one of the cheapest ways to make people see your business. You can slip it into other newspapers while you buy yours. You can also drop by a garage sale and ask the owner if you can distribute flyers there. All you need for this type of advertising is paper, ink and a creative mind. The more artistic your flyers are, the more attention they will get.

Business cards

This works almost the same as flyers. You can hand it to people you interact with every day – coffee shops, restaurants, schools, doctor’s offices. You can even leave it in the restroom if you want to.

Personalised t-shirts

Again, this needs a creative mind or maybe not. You simply put the name of your business along with your contact number and have it printed on t-shirts. Ask your friends and family members to wear them.

This is an exciting way to advertise your business. You look for places that have high foot traffic and install your rollerbanners with your business name on them.

Free gifts

If you are feeling generous, you may want to give out free gifts to your prospects. You can go to a store you frequent, talk to the store manager and ask him if you can leave free gifts for their customers. Don’t forget to include your business details on them. What could be a better way to advertise than the word of mouth? People believe in people. If you have plenty of friends and family members, tell them to share something positive about your business with their co-workers, classmates and friends. You never know how fast this could spread.
